Danielle Completes American Red Cross LifeGuard Course

Last summer I successfully completed the American Red Cross lifeguard course. Afterwards, I was hired and worked the summer at the Columbus Country Club. I found I enjoyed the water a lot, so this winter I successfully completed the Water Safety Instructor course at The Athletic Club of Columbus.

Teaching others to swim is a rewarding challenge. My mother has always been an instructor and that is one of the reasons I decided to try it.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal: Homeschooling allowed me the time required to complete the training, since some of the classes were during the week.

Interests: I am interested in providing a safe aquatic environment for children.
