How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling immensely helped us achieve our goal by allowing us to be extremely flexible.

Getting up at five in the morning, driving to the beach, and catching the rising sun in our film was certainly not an easy task… but with the flexibility of homeschooling, it was not as difficult as it could’ve been!

Homeschooling also allowed Kateri, our camera person and editor, to spend more time filming and editing than doing schoolwork. She also composed the music in the video.

What are your interests?

Kateri loves all things filming, book writing, songwriting, and occasional comic book writing.

She loves all sports (especially soccer) and absolutely loves being on Seton’s very own Catholic Harbor. (maybe a little too much) Kateri also plays the violin and piano.

Bella (she also goes by her first name, Maria) loves all things art: painting, coloring, drawing, you name it! She also plays the piano and violin, just like Kateri.

Bella also is in the Beginning Choir at our homeschool co-op.

Andrew loves to play baseball in the back yard, swimming in their pool, singing, and dinosaurs.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

Kateri’s dream is to create films for the theaters, play pro soccer, or enter the medical field.

Bella is inspired to become a doctor and help people.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

Kateri’s favorite subjects are Religion and Science.

Religion, because it is a chance to deepen her faith and science, because every page has at least one mind-blowing fact.

Bella prefers Math to all her other subjects.
