Tori to Steubenville with Spirit of Franciscan Award

Tori, a member of Seton Class of 2018, has received the Spirit of Franciscan Award from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. She has also been awarded a scholarship from her place of employment, Chick-Fil-A and a scholarship from the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Tori will be graduating from Seton with 29 credits and a 4.0 GPA and several years of volunteer and service work helping with Parish Catechism classes, Pro-Life camps, sidewalk counseling, and diaper drives. She has also been active in junior high youth ministry and other service opportunities. Tori will be going to Franciscan in the fall to study Theology and Catechetics.

Tori shared, “Seton has not only prepared me for college with a solid foundation academically, but it has also given me a good anchor in, and a love for, my Catholic faith as well as a love of learning.”
