Isabel has Poem Published in Highlights Magazine
What did you do?
I submitted a poem to Highlights Magazine and they published it!
This is the poem I submitted:
Oh! Little raindrops on the housetops and windowpanes.
Glittering in the sunshine.
What pretty little things.
What organization recognized the achievement?
The entity that published my poem was Highlights magazine.
How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?
I had time to read Highlights and write my poem!
What are your interests?
My interests are playing the piano. I take lessons. I also like ballet, but I don’t take lessons!
I take ski lessons so I like jumping off ski jumps. My goal is to ski a double black diamond run.
I also like inventing things.
What are you inspired to do with your life?
I am inspired to be a mom or a Nun, a hairdresser, a nurse, a teacher and a ballet dancer.
What are your favorite subjects and why?
I like art because you can draw any kind of picture you want. I like science because you can do cool experiments.
Religion is one of my favorites because I like stories about God. I also like reading because I like different stories.
All of my favorite subjects are not boring!
