Katarina Wins 2nd Place at Local Singing Competition

I won 2nd place in a local singing competition, along with a $300 prize.

The photo was taken at the Colorado College in Packard Hall. I’m wearing the floor-length, purple dress, the girl to my left is the 1st place winner.

Home schooling has helped by giving me the time and dedication needed to make my dream of becoming an opera singer become reality. Being home schooled has also taught me that difficult things are achieved one step at a time. This was my first step toward achieving my dream.
