Brendan: Fifes and Drums’ Drummer of the Month

What did you do?

I was promoted to Junior Corps Drummer in November and then in December was voted as drummer of the month.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The Fifes and Drums of Yorktown.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling helped me achieve this goal by giving me extra time to work on my drumming and have private lessons with an instructor in my home.

What are your interests?

Art, game design, music specifically drumming, tennis, running, and hanging out with my friends and my dog and cat.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I want to be an artist or video game designer.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

Science and art because I like understanding how things work and I like creating things.
