The Clermont Pépin Festival is a musical event that has as a main objective to promote and stimulate the emergence of new regional talent in music.

Formerly known as the Clermont-Pépin Music Competitions, the Festival offers a healthy competitive atmosphere to promote the development of skills in musical talent and encourage the student to advance to higher achievements.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

I am able to practice many hours on my piano because of the flexibility of my work schedule in my studies as a homeschooler.

Also, Seton has a rigorous program that helps me develop a good sense of self-discipline.

I am very excited about my daughter’s acheivements in her piano career. The Seton Home Study program has given her rigourous study habits which in turn helped her to develop good music practices and a determined attitude to work hard for what she desires in life. Her goal is to study at the Quebec Conservatory of Arts and Music (Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec) which she is presently working at while she completes her grade 11 with the Seton Home Study program. She is presently taking private lessons at the Quebec Conservatory and hopes to be accepted in the Music program for a degree from the Laval University this fall.
I am eternally grateful for the Seton Home Study program as it has given us freedom to pursue our children’s talents and develop them to perfection. But I am more grateful for the fact that this home study program develops a strong Catholic faith in our children but also in our family as a whole. Thank you Dr. Clarke and all your staff for giving us the Seton Home Study program.
