Elizabeth Competes in Irish Dance Competition

Elizabeth Competes in Irish Dance Competition

On January 28th, 2017, I competed at a Feis Irish Dance competition in Atlanta Ga.

I started taking Irish Dance classes three years ago. I was inspired by the other homeschooling families that attend St. Francis De Sales Church in Mableton Ga.

What organization recognized the achievement?

I have participated in many Feises which is an Irish dance competition. King O’ Sullivan Feis and Peachtree State Feis.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Being a Seton student requires discipline and organization and that’s what I need in order to learn Irish dance. Also being a homeschooling student gives me a flexible schedule for my classes which requires 6-8 hours a week.

What are your interests?

I love Irish dancing, being outdoors, trying to identify birds, and taking care of my garden.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I will always will be inspired by my patron saint, St Therese of the little flower, doing little things can be great in the eyes of God!

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I like science, along with my sister who enjoys learning about nature.
