Ivana Fulfills Her Dream at Homeschool Graduation Mass

Ivana Fulfills Her Dream at Homeschool Graduation Mass

What did you do?

I played the piano and violin for the Home school Graduation Mass!

One of the organizers of the Graduation Mass approached me and asked if I could play the piano five days before the actual day! I was very excited!

To play at a Mass was my dream ever since I started playing the piano and violin!

To honor and glorify God with my talents in piano and violin is all I ever wanted to do!

I could not have done this without the help and direction of my mother. She nurtured my passion to play both instruments and has been a wonderful teacher!

I thank God for giving me this talent and for giving me the opportunity to play and glorify Him with it!

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling helped me achieve my goal because it gave me the time to practice and play for the Mass. Homeschooling also helped me get me out of my shell and not to be nervous.

What are your interests?

My interests are playing the piano, violin, and recorder. I also like to sing, bake, write, and sew. Playing the piano is how I de-stress. It calms me down. When I played for the Mass, I just thought that I was at home and it definitely helped!

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I am inspired to evangelize through the media with my sister. We are planning on making movies and writing books to bring God back into the media. It will be gradual, until people get used to having goodness and God in their movies.

It will be like how movie producers slowly inserted bad and immoral content in their movies; we will insert God and wholesome content in ours! That will influence the people’s lives the most.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are History and Science. I love History because we can learn what happened in the past, and that will eventually change the future. It is also nice to read about the amazing true stories!

I like Science, mostly Human Biology, because I am very interested in the digestive system and what the human body is made of.

The photo was taken at Mary Queen of Peace, my parish, where I played for the Mass.
