Brooke Performs with the STARS

Brooke is a member of a non-profit organization in the small farming town of Cabool, Missouri. The STARS Foundation is a community-wide fine arts school offering music, dance, art, language, acting and private music lessons.

STARS stands for Studying, Teaching, And Returning Service. Members of STARS have the opportunity to participate in community service to supplement the cost of the program. The community and the students benefit from the organization.

The family moved to Missouri from Texas a year ago and was surprised to find this amazing opportunity in a small town with a population of 2,000.

“I have learned so much about music, music theory and my passion for music has returned. I love playing the flute.”

Brooke’s future plans involve joining the choir and playing at mass and offering her services for weddings.

Homeschooling requires discipline but the flexibility gives our family the opportunity to enrich our lives. We are truly blessed.
