Brianna was give the honor of representing Seymour Johnson AFB (Air Force Base) as its 2014 Military Youth of the Year.

The Military Youth of the Year contest is a distinct component of the National Youth of the Year program presented by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. It recognizes a Club member served on a military installation who has overcome enormous odds and demonstrated exceptional character and accomplishments.

Brianna earned the recognition by serving as the Keystone Club’s President, Teen Council President, implementing various community service projects, and maintaining a high personal standard. Winners of the competition were invited to attend a leadership conference held at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

She has been part of Seton since the 4th grade. Homeschooling has allowed her to cultivate her many talents and a true servant’s heart. The high standard of faith based education she receives has helped to provide her with the confidence and intellectual skill she uses in her various leadership roles.

This photo was taken at her home shortly before attending the Leadership Conference.
