Kiera placed in the top 20 in Costa Rican Nationals

Seton ninth-grader Kiera Parker placed in the top 20 in the nation in Costa Rica in the 100 meter IM, the 50 meter free, and 50 meter Breast stroke in 2018.

Kiera shared, “Homeschooling allows me to spend more time working toward my goals.”

She continued, “My interests include reading fiction books, writing fiction stories, swimming competitively (both pool and open ocean), scuba diving, surfing and playing soccer with my friends.

“I am currently working toward achieving a Naval Academy appointment.

“My favorite subject is history because I love learning about what people did years ago.”
