Angel Lei Joy Speaks on Servant-Leadership

Angel Lei Joy Speaks on Servant-Leadership

I gave a talk on being an empowered and modest woman leader to Senior High School students as a part of the culmination ceremony for National Women’s Month.

I emphasized the importance of servant-leadership, loving thy neighbor, and the importance of being curious and open to new opportunities.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School recognized my achievement.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gave me the foundation to learn to be an effective leader through volunteering in the Church and my homeschooling community. The flexibility allowed me to make a presentation on off hours, even late into the night and early in the morning.

What are your interests?

I am interested in entrepreneurship and in volunteering in the Church as a lector. I play instruments like the ukulele, guitar, and harmonica.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I am inspired to become a social entrepreneur, to help others, just like parents do.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

Accounting, since everything has to be in order and there is a definite answer and end.
