Benjamin’s Right to Life Poster Wins First Place

Benjamin’s Right to Life Poster Wins First Place

Benjamin Buschur, age 7, 2nd grade, won first place in the local Right to Life poster contest in which three parishes competed for the best homemade poster. Benjamin is registered in the first grade for religion at the local parish.

We were unable to attend the reception because we found the notification letter the day after the reception. We had taken a spur of the moment trip to Akron, Ohio, and visited the relics of St. Hyacinth and St. Maxamina. It was a great way to start our Lent.

On our way, my husband called and told me Benjamin had won first place, finding out via my brother-in-law, Steve. We were disappointed we had missed the reception, but elated we were able to visit the Saints and happy he won first place!
