Elena Wins 1st in Archery Tournament

On August 6-7, 2016, I participated in the state NFAA 900 archery competition, and I won 1st place in the Cub Female Olympic Recurve division!

What organization recognized the achievement?

Alaska State Archery Association (ASAA) recognized my state champion title.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Because I homeschool with Seton, I can train on my bow all day and then concentrate on my studies when it is convenient for me.

What are your interests?

My interests are competitive archery, reading, horses, and dolls.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I hope to be an Olympic archer. I also want to have horses and become an equestrian some day. Most of all, I am inspired to live my life to please God.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

Science is a favorite of mine because I love learning about animals, nature, and how things work.
