Luke Chosen as National 4-H Delegate
What did you do?
I applied and was interviewed with over fifty-plus high schoolers to be chosen as a National Conference Delegate for Louisiana 4-H.
Only four people are chosen from each state to represent their state at Congress in Washington, DC, in April 2025 at the National 4H conference. After going through the process, I was chosen as one of the four high schoolers.
This is a huge honor, and I am so thankful for the opportunity.
What organization recognized the achievement?
Louisiana 4-H is the organization that recognized and made this achievement possible.
How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?
Homeschooling has helped me achieve my goal in so many ways.
First, Seton has more than prepared me to be a better reader and writer, which plays a part in my ability to create applications and interview as well as I do. Homeschooling has also allowed me the time to focus on 4-H and achieve all of my goals through this amazing organization.
What are your interests?
My interests are 4-H and the leadership side of the club because I am passionate about helping lead others to success.
I am also very involved in my church parish and youth group. Last, I love the outdoors, mainly shooting, archery, and hunting.
What are you inspired to do with your life?
I am inspired to do something in agriculture. I have not decided whether to be an agricultural lawyer or a pilot. I am also inspired to spread the word of Jesus through public speaking.
What are your favorite subjects and why?
My favorite subject is History because I love learning about how things have unfolded over time.
The photo was taken at the Louisiana 4-H function.
