Maria Accepted to Franz Liszt Conservatory
What did you do?
This Wednesday, August 28, 2019, I gave an audition to study cello professionally and I was accepted.
What organization recognized the achievement?
The Franz Liszt Conservatory, in Quito, Ecuador.
How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?
Homeschool has helped me to organize my time and while I finish high school I can realize my dream of studying music with no pressure.
What are your interests?
Become a great cellist and enjoy my music. And also in the future become a wonderful Catholic mom.
What are you inspired to do with your life?
My biggest dream is to be happy playing the cello and being part of an orchestra to make people happy with the art of classical music. I also hope to instill this musical passion in my future children and create a cultured and loving family of God.
What are your favorite subjects, and why?
My favorite subjects are Understanding the Scriptures and World History because both are intimately related and I can corroborate with each other. I love to learn in-depth the meaning of each of the books of the Bible so that I can have a more vivid and convincing faith.
At the same time, I love to study history because knowing all the achievements of wonderful heroes like Isabel of Castilla or Saint Thomas Aquinas gives me strength to follow their examples.
