What did you do?

I earned a spot in the Saint Louis Middle School All-Suburban Band.

What organization recognized the achievement?

Saint Louis Suburban Music Educators Association

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling helped me to attend Band daily through our local public school, and to have enough practice time to achieve my goal of auditioning and earning a seat in the All–Suburban Band.

What are your interests?

I like to learn new musical instruments, read, play basketball with my siblings, and spend time with my family.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I would like to become a music teacher and a mom.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is history because it interests me to learn about my ancestors and their past.
