What did you do?
I made the AAA Elite tier 1 ice hockey team called the Philadelphia Little Flyers.
What organization recognized the achievement?
AAA Philadelphia Little Flyers
How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?
Homeschooling has given me TIME. Time to pray, to say my rosary, to give thanks to my parents for allowing me to homeschool. To give thanks to Seton for educating me not only in academics but also in Christ. To have time with God before I begin my day and throughout my day.
My typical day is: skate, school, eat lunch. Skate, school, skate. Finish school when I get home. Eat dinner, shower, sleep, and repeat!
I can skate 7+ hours a day. When I’m not practicing in the rink, I am training in the gym, outside and while rollerblading.
What are your interests?
My interests include ice hockey, basketball, and my dog.
What are you inspired to do with your life?
I am inspired to be a professional ice hockey player. I am also inspired to serve in the military and to become a police officer. I reflect on what I know about the Bible in determining what decisions need to be made in everything I do.
What are your favorite subjects and why?
My favorite subject is Math because I understand it best.
The photo was taken at my first AAA tier 1 tournament. I was proud to show my coaches that I am a great team player.
