Vittorio Performs as a Manila Symphony Soloist

What did you do?

I was chosen as one of the winners of the Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) Concerto Competition 2025 Level B (Violin Category).

It was an incredible honor to perform as a soloist with the Manila Symphony Orchestra, one of the country’s most respected symphonic ensembles.

This experience allowed me to share my passion for classical music and to grow as an artist through discipline, faith, and dedication.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The Manila Symphony Orchestra Foundation Inc., through the MSO Concerto Competition 2025, recognized my achievement and selected me as one of the winners to perform in their Concert of Winners.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling through Seton has given me the flexibility to balance my academic studies and music training. It allows me to dedicate focused hours each day to practice while still keeping up with my lessons.

More importantly, Seton’s faith-based education has helped me stay grounded and thankful, reminding me that every opportunity is a blessing and every talent is a gift to be used for God’s glory.

What are your interests?

My main interest is music, especially the violin, which I have been playing for several years. I love listening to classical works and understanding how each piece tells a story. I also enjoy reading, writing, and learning about art that inspires creativity and emotion.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I am inspired by my dad, who always encouraged me to give my best in everything I do. His life, love, and example continue to guide me every day. I hope to honor him through my music, to keep growing, performing, and using my gift to bring joy and hope to others.

My dream is to contribute to music and culture in our country and to make people feel the beauty that music can express.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are English and History because both tell stories just like music does. English helps me express myself better, and History teaches me how people and moments shape the world, just as composers shape music through their time.
