Gabrielle Has Varsity Letter, Sees Beauty of God in Music

What did you do?

I achieved the varsity award for my music organization, which is a varsity letter for my jacket.

What organization recognized the achievement?

OHMI, which is a homeschool music organization, recognized my achievement.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling helped me achieve my goal because it allowed me to broaden my study and love of music. I was able to spend quality time with my three instruments, including cello, violin, piano, and my voice.

Because of Seton’s flexibility, I was able to attend numerous musical festivals, which helped me achieve my varsity award and participate in the symphony orchestra and concert choir.

Music is an essential part of my life as it is not only a passion of mine but also a way to express the beauty of God through music. I love creating new songs and playing for fun.

What are your interests?

Besides music, I love to bake and sew. I also enjoy the great outdoors and playing with my younger siblings.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

Although music will always be a part of my life, I am inspired to become a nurse-midwife. I also want to improve the well-being of mothers and babies and help birthing be a better experience.

What are your favorite subjects, and why?

I absolutely love English because of the challenges it presents but also because of the opportunity to write beautiful papers. Religion is also another of my favorite subjects because of the beauty of learning about God.
