Francis Earns One of Top 3 Spots in Piano Competition

What did you do?

Learning piano in my spare time helps me relax. Being the youngest in the class, I did not expect that I would get the Top 3 spot.

Thanks to Seton Home Study School, I had more time and flexibility with school, so I was able to practice and master my piece.

What organization recognized the achievement?

I am so grateful to my Piano Tutorial family teacher Matthew. He is the owner and instructor and he devoted his time and effort to patiently teach me keyboard skills.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Because of the flexibility of my homeschooling schedule, I didn’t need to rush anything. It felt like I could achieve whatever I wanted without the fear of being rejected or disapproved. There’s real autonomy and freedom in homeschooling.

What are your interests?

I’m really into coding and robotics.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

My family inspires me to do my best in life. I would love to become a lawyer someday.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

Science, because I love doing experiments.
