Annastasia, Girl Scout Troop Awarded Bronze

Annastasia Naomi joined Girl Scout Troop 4754 in Peoria, Illinois, after migrating to the United States in 2022. It helps her learn new skills and adapt to the new environment.

During her Junior Girl Scout years, she was also awarded a Bronze award together with her fellow Junior troop mates. She has gained more confidence over the years as a Girl Scout. She’s currently a Cadette Girl Scout and is striving to do much better in every endeavor she takes part in.

She learns the value of friendship and camaraderie through Girl Scout activities. In line with this, their Troop 4754 received an Honor Troop award at the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois Awards Ceremony on April 19, 2026.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

The flexible hours in homeschooling help her join Girl Scout activities and develop some skills that she can use as she grows up.

What are your interests?

Besides Girl Scouts, my interests include reading my favorite books, acrylic painting, gaming, and studying more about Math and Science.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I would like to study hard, finish college, and become one of NASA’s mechanical engineers to develop spacecraft for better space travel in the future.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are math, art, and science. I enjoy learning about God’s creations and goodness through science. I love to challenge myself to study more and learn how to solve mathematical calculations I did not know how to solve. I like to paint and express my ideas through art.
