SAT and Grades Get Liam to His First-Choice College
What did you do?
I ranked nationally in the 3rd percentile for my SAT scores and was recognized in the top 10 percent for my state GPA.
Because of this, I received an early acceptance to my first college of choice, Texas A&M College Station, for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
What organization recognized the achievement?
Texas A&M
How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?
Being able to work at my own pace in a peaceful, nurturing environment gave me the freedom to explore my interests more deeply and excel in my studies. Seton’s accredited program gave me flexibility, structure, and independence to grow in diligence and Godly wisdom, and to cultivate honorable character.
What are your interests?
My interests are plastic model kits of robots, Legos, making things out of resin, writing stories, drawing characters, video games, attending bible studies with my sister, teen nights, volunteering at my Parish, and reading manga and engineering books.
What are you inspired to do with your life?
I look forward to helping alleviate animal suffering and contributing not only to their well-being and health but also to walking their owners through difficult times with compassion and empathy.
What are your favorite subjects and why?
My favorite subject is math because I like seeing how different components can be expanded upon, revised, and developed. I also find it interesting how it can be found in everything from baseball to puzzles.
