Benjamin Displays at One-Man Art Show

What did you do?

I held an art show at a coffee shop. A local coffee shop supports local artists by displaying and selling their art for a month at a time.

What organization recognized the achievement?

My art teacher sells her art at this coffee shop and arranged to have my art displayed for an entire month. It was very exciting, and I learned about art presentation.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gives me the time to practice as much as I’d like and experiment with different mediums. It has also given me the opportunity to hire a private art teacher who teaches me different artistic techniques.

What are your interests?

My interests are art and animals. I’m fortunate to be able to combine the two.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I’d like to be a wildlife behaviorist.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I like Biology and most sciences because I love learning about all types of animals. I love my art class, too, of course.
