Brendan Completes Course, Earns Boating Certificate

This summer I participated in a week-long Jr. Powerboat Captain boating course and while there earned my safe boating certificate. Now I can operate my family’s boat.

What organization recognized the achievement?

I received my certificate from the Annapolis School of Seamanship in Annapolis, MD.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gave me more time to go boating with my family.

What are your interests?

My interests are boating, kayaking, biking, drumming, skateboarding, airsoft, video games, drawing, and running with my dog.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I am creating an open-world video game and am developing and drawing all the characters. I plan to one day run my own video game design studio.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are science, especially astronomy, all things NASA, and drawing/art.
