John Receives Superior Rating, Chosen for Recital

What did you do?

I performed Mozart’s “Concerto in G” on my violin at the Moraine Music Festival and received my ninth Superior rating. I was chosen to perform at the Honors recital and received my second gold plaque.

What organization recognized the achievement?

Moraine Musicians guild

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

I began playing violin when I was six years old. Besides lessons, I was in a local youth orchestra for several years, and last year was the First chair violin and Concert Master. Homeschooling gives me the extra time to practice especially when I need to polish a piece of music.

What are your interests?

Besides violin, I enjoy soccer, altar serving, skiing, golfing, and weight lifting.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I would like to go to college and chose a vocation and occupation God has planned for me.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are History, Religion, English, and chemistry
