Competing Against Adults Catherine Earns AKC Awards

I earned both of the American Kennel Club (AKC) Rally Obedience trial highest score awards on the same day with my Belgian Sheepdog, Nilly, competing against adults: Rally High Combined and Rally Highest Triple Scores. I train my dogs in rally, obedience, agility, and tricks.

Homeschooling helped me achieve my goal by providing the flexibility to schedule to training my dogs both at home and at the training centers and to attend dog shows and trials.

My interests are dogs, downhill skiing, crafting, and playing the piano. I would like to become a surgeon and continue dog training and showing.

My favorite subjects are history and English. I’m interested in history because it is important to understand past events and how they relate to the present time. I also enjoy reading English literature and writing reports.
