Eva Wins Reserve Best Junior in Show

Eva Wins Reserve Best Junior in Show

What did you do?

Eva won Reserve Best Junior in Show at the United Kennel Club dog show in Jefferson, Wisconsin Feb. 13th and 14th.

What organization recognized the achievement?

United Kennel Club

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Eva participates in dog training, as part of her physical education. Dog training for dog shows requires you to run around the show ring multiple times, lift a 20 lb. dog on the table multiple times, and get down on your knees and back up again multiple times. It is a great way to exercise without realizing you are exercising. This has helped Eva to become an excellent handler in the show ring.

What are your interests?

Eva is interested in dogs, smooth fox terriers and golden retrievers, her pet rats, her horse, and swimming.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

Eva would like to be a midwife.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

Eva’s favorite subject is math. It’s difficult for her, but she likes a challenge.
