Lauren’s Team Wins Second Place in Disney Teen Film Festival

In the summer of 2017, my original animation was entered in the Disney Teen International Film Festival.

What organization recognized the achievement?

I and 8 fellow art students took Second Place for our animation reel.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gives me the flexibility to pursue art and animation as a hobby and possibly as a career goal.

What are your interests?

My interests are art and criminal justice.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I am looking to do something that allows me to be of service to others.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is art because it allows me to be creative and my work brings joy to others.
