Grace Wins First at KY State Championship

What did you do?

I won first place at the Kentucky state championship in two academy-level walk/trot classes: saddle seat equitation and horsemanship.

What organization recognized the achievement?

KASPHA (Kentucky American Saddlebred Pleasure Horse Association)

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gives me the flexibility to take weekly lessons, help out at the barn, and have extra time for practice before horse shows.

What are your interests?

My interests include saddle seat riding, classical ballet, photography, and Latin choir.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I want to be a World Champion saddle seat rider and to have my own lesson program someday.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is history because I love learning about the people who came before us and how they lived.
