Ice Mite Xavier Has His Eye on the NHL

What did you do?

I just finished my Full Ice Mite ice hockey season. We won two tournaments playing in an older age bracket where I scored 14 goals and had eight assists. We were also crowned Mite A Division Champions at our end-of-season league playoffs. We won over 40 games this season.

What organization recognized the achievement?

Pennsauken Pilots Full Ice Mites in the Atlantic Hockey Federation

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

I like to work hard in everything I do.

What are your interests?

I also dance three days a week – ballet, tap, lyrical, and hip hop. And I swim and play tennis in the summer. And play hockey all year.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I want to play in the NHL when I grow up.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I like math and vocabulary because they just click with me.
