Jasper Makes High School Country Music Finals
A Dallas-Fort Worth country music radio station advertised for finding the next high school country music star.
I submitted a video entry and was chosen to perform live in the semifinals of the Fort Worth Stockyards Showdown.
Another Live Performance
I was then chosen to be one of the six finalists and performed live again the next week at the Stockyards. For the semifinals, we had to perform a 90’s country song and an original song we had written.
For the finals, we performed a song that wasn’t originally country but performed in a country style, another song of our choice, and another original song we had written.
Live Nation DFW and the radio station 96.3 New Country recognized the achievement
Homeschooling enabled me to easily dedicate a wealth of time to learning and practicing.
My interests include sharing and serving through music, volunteering, and participating in Catholic youth events, exercising, and learning about cars, and I am inspired to enter politics
What are your favorite subjects and why?
I enjoy British Literature for the insight it provides into the development of the English language and the guidance it gives in reading essential literary classics.
