Miro is IronKids Philippines Champion

What did you do?

I am a triathlete. I swim, bike, and run in the youth category (13 to 15 years old). I was the champion in the recent Ironkids LapuLapu 2024.

I started triathlon in 2018 when I was only eight years old. Since then, I have been able to travel to different places within the Philippines and in Asia to compete.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gives me enough time to train daily in the morning and afternoon. I study and finish my schoolwork in between my training sessions. I can travel to races in different places without worrying about my school deadlines.

What are your interests?

I love to play the guitar during my free time when I am not training for triathlon.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I want to beat my best!

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I love Science!
