Myrah Wins Gold in First National Competition

I have always been interested in martial arts and started doing taekwondo along with my sister in August 2023. This achievement is important to me because aside from winning first place, it was also my first time competing in a national competition.

What did you do?

I participated in and won first place at the UAE National Poomsae Cup (season 2023-2024) in Sharjah in May 2024, earning the gold medal in my category.

What organization recognized the achievement?

UAE Taekwondo Federation & Oryx Taekwondo, Abu Dhabi

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gave me time to attend training sessions and also practice at home.

What are your interests?

I am interested in taekwondo, biology, and drawing.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

For now, I want to focus on doing well in both studies and sports and become a doctor in the future.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are science and foreign language.
