Piper Realizes Goal, Dances in The Nutcracker

What did you do?

In December, I realized one of my goals by dancing in a production of The Nutcracker.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The Colorado Conservatory of Dance

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Yes, having flexibility in my studies was a gift with many hours of rehearsal. Two weeks before our first performance, we had nightly rehearsals that lasted for over five hours.

What are your interests?

I really love to perform; ballet and singing are my two passions.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I want to go to Julliard and study dance and performance. Eventually, I would like to sing on Broadway.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are Math and Reading. I enjoy reading lots of books.
