Mercy Entering Canisius College Honors Program

What did you do?

I graduated from Seton Home Study School with a 4.0 GPA and was accepted into the honors program at Canisius College, which I will attend in the fall to study political science and international relations while also planning to pursue a law degree.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling has helped me become the person I am today, and Seton’s educational program helped me to be admitted to a good college. Thank you to Seton and my parents for supporting me throughout my educational journey.

What are your interests?

I love spending time with my family and talking to friends I met through Catholic Harbor. I also enjoy discussing politics, watching movies, listening to music, and dancing.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I hope to earn my dual majors bachelor’s degrees, and a law degree in 6 years and then go on to work as a politician or a JAG officer in the military.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

This past year I enjoyed Consumer Math and Health and Nutrition. My favorite subject in all of high school was Moral Theology.
