William Says JMJ UNITED is a Team – On and Off the Field
Last year, I competed in an indoor soccer tournament in Tyler, Texas. I continue to compete in more tournaments at the indoor complex with my friends from church at Saint Joseph the Worker FSSP Catholic Church in Tyler, Texas. Our team’s name is JMJ UNITED, and we continue improving our teamwork on the field and off. However, we are not among the best teams because our team is one of the much younger ones at the complex, as we play Men in their 20s-30s who have had much more experience than us.
What organization recognized the achievement?
The 271 Soccer Complex, an indoor soccer complex in Tyler, TX, recognized our achievement as we entered into one of the teams.
How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?
Homeschooling helps give me time to practice my soccer skills and attend practices and games.
What are your interests?
I enjoy Soccer most of all, as well as archery, guns, all athletic sports, and organizing events with my friends from church.
What are you inspired to do with your life?
I am inspired to become a real estate agent, discover my vocation, and pursue it.
What are your favorite subjects and why?
My favorite subjects are Literature and Composition, Understanding the Scriptures, and Spanish because I am good at writing essays and research reports and enjoy it. I like Understanding the Scriptures because it is important to know your faith so that you can defend it, and I like Spanish because I have always wanted to speak it and understand it. It is also very helpful in understanding all of the Mexicans that I play in the indoor complex. lol
The photo was taken at the 271 Indoor Soccer Complex after our first game this year. I am holding the “Choose Life” water bottle on the bottom row, 2nd, to the left. My brother is also on the team and is on the bottom on the far right.
