Cecilia Wins at Georgia Gymnastics Championship

What did you do?

I won First Place on my floor routine at the Georgia State XCEL Championship.

What organization recognized the achievement?

USA Gymnastics

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling gives me more time to practice at the gym and set goals. I also don’t have to worry about doing homework late at night when I get home, as some of my friends do.

What are your interests?

Besides gymnastics, I like art, playing outside, gardening, and playing with friends.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I would love to open my own gymnastics gym one day.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I like science, especially space science. I also like spelling and vocabulary because it’s fun to have challenging words.
