Citlalli Performs in Latin Heritage Dance Company

Citlalli Perez is 15 years old and in the 10th grade.

For over a year she has been dancing Mexican Folklore and Spanish Flamenco with the Latin Heritage Dance Company in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her group recently performed at a festival in Columbia, South Carolina.

She credits homeschooling with giving her time to practice her dancing and attend performances.

Citlalli likes to dance and sew (she recently made a bucket hat). Her favorite subject is World History because she likes reading about past events.
