Fulton Achieves President’s List at Maritime Academy

What did you do?

As a class of 2023 Seton Home Study School graduate, I enrolled in the Corps of Cadets in the marine engineering program at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where I achieved President’s List.

What organization recognized the achievement?

Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Seton Home Study School greatly assisted me in achieving the President’s List (the highest academic honor at the school). In particular, Seton’s math and writing courses were quintessential to my success as an engineering cadet.

What are your interests?

My interests include computer programming, history, Church history, chemistry, math, and writing.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I am inspired to live my vocation and provide for my future family with an in-demand career.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I always disliked writing while being homeschooled, but now I realize how the work prepared me for college. I actually like writing now, as the program has allowed me to excel in literature and writing classes. I also like math and history.
