John Invited to ACHA Ice Hockey Showcase

What did you do?

I was invited to an ACHA collegiate showcase for ice hockey, in hopes of playing Division 1, where I scored a goal and spoke with scouts.

What organization recognized the achievement?

Capper Hockey Services and City National Arena recognized the achievement.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

With the extra time homeschooling gives me, I can practice the fundamentals and improve my skills.

What are your interests?

I enjoy playing Ice hockey and chess.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I’m inspired to play 20 seasons in the NHL and have at least 500 career goals when I retire.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I enjoy U.S. history because I feel like I am actually witnessing these events.
