Jose Awarded Fencing Tournament Medal

What did you do?

Today, I participated in a fencing tournament and won the 3rd place medal.

What organization recognized the achievement?

I am a member of the Augusta Fencers Club.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling has helped me to take time to understand step-by-step instructions. I have applied this to my practices. Fencing is my PE class, and it is so much fun.

What are your interests?

My interest is learning more about fencing, learning more tricks, and participating in more tournaments.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

When I grow up, I want to be a US Navy Seal. Fencing helps me to think about strategies to combat my opponent, and it also helps me to develop my balance and concentration skills.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is Math, especially multiplication.
