Mike is First in Kumite at Dutch Championship

What did you do?

I was at the 2019 IBF Open Dutch Championship All Styles in Groningen, Netherlands the 16th of November.

I was there together with our Karate school, Shotokan Karate Ter Apel. Many contestants at the championship were from our school.

We had to compete against different styles next to Karate, like Taekwondo. I won the First Prize in Kumite and the 3rd Prize in Forms in my division.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The IBF Netherlands is the International Buda Federation in the Netherlands, recognized my achievements at the Championship.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling allows me a flexible schedule so I can train when I want.

What are your interests?

I love Karate and reading.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

Art is my favorite subject, I like to read about Catholic art.
