Summer Wins at State Fair With Her Goat Snickers

What did you do?

I placed second out of 12 at the Maryland State Fair in my Meat Goat Showmanship class with my goat Snickers.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The Maryland State Fair and Maryland 4-H recognized and sponsored the award I won this year.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling has been helping me achieve my goals because I have been able to spend much more time out in the barn working with my animals.

What are your interests?

My interests include showing livestock and drawing.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

After my 4-H career is over, I plan on going to college and eventually making it to Medical School to become a doctor!

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is science because of my interest in Medicine. I love learning about the human body and how all of our cells work together to perform daily functions
