Nicholas Chosen to Sing at National 4-H Hall of Fame

What did you do?

I was chosen through an audition and application process to sing at the National 4-H Hall of Fame. All expenses were paid for my parents and me to attend the event in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

My sister, Anne Catherine joined us and we were able to visit Capitol Hill, the monuments and museums of Washington, D.C. and Arlington Cemetery.

What organization recognized the achievement?

Because of the 4-H program, I have had the opportunity to perform all over Louisiana and at the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, GA. 4-H has also helped to develop my ability as a public speaker, exposed me to the importance of community service, and taught me leadership skills.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

As a homeschooling student, I have been able to include voice and theory lessons as part of my schedule.

What are your interests?

I am still praying for guidance. However, I am very interested in Political Science.
