Savannah Earns 1st Place at Oklahoma State Fair

What did you do?

I earned 1st place at the Oklahoma State Fair with my Herbarium Collections of Plants.

What organization recognized the achievement?

The 4-H and Oklahoma State University recognized my achievement.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

I have time to attend 4-H club meetings every month, and I have time to collect the plant specimens, dry them, press them, and mount them.

What are your interests?

I’m interested in reading, science, playing the piano, and robotics.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

When I grow up, I want to be a Zookeeper.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subject is Science because I learn about plants and animals.
