Mateo Won Two Gold Medals in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

I competed in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition in Colorado Springs. I won two Gold medals after winning four difficult fights in both Gi and No Gi categories.

Grappling Industries Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

Homeschooling helped me with this achievement because I was able to get more practice time at my gym. I’m very grateful to be homeschooling!

What are your interests?

My interests are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, drawing, aeronautics, building Legos, playing with my dog, and playing Minecraft with my brother. I also love serving the Latin Mass at our parish.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I’m inspired by my mom and dad, and I want to continue to grow in my faith.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are math and vocabulary because they are the most fun. I do Teaching Textbooks because it helps you learn real-world situations and reviews a lot. I like Vocabulary because learning to use the dictionary is really helpful and fun.
