Sophia Earns 3rd Place at Pro-Am Tournament

What did you do?

I earned third place at the Easton/Hoyt Pro-Am 3D Archery Tournament in Camp Minden, Louisiana.

What organization recognized the achievement?

ASA Archery

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

I can attend practices throughout the week and even during the day, which I could not do if I went to a regular school. I can also attend the tournaments during the week and away from my home state.

What are your interests?

Archery, horseback riding, reading, drawing, and building with Legos.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I want to work with animals in some way and keep doing archery.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

I love science – because I’m interested in how things work and in living organisms and history – because I love learning about places and people.
