Abigail Enjoys Playing Soccer with the Landsharks

I started playing soccer three years ago when I was seven. I just love the feeling of running with the ball in tow and shooting at the goal. This year my team was called the Landsharks.

What did you do?

I won two medals, one for sportsmanship and the other for scoring my first goal.

What organization recognized the achievement?

i9 Sports.

How did homeschooling help you achieve your goal?

As a homeschooler, I’m able to practice frequently during and after school time.

What are your interests?

Besides soccer, my other interests include playing the violin, reading, science, and history.

What are you inspired to do with your life?

I want to become a professional soccer player or a violin teacher when I grow up.

What are your favorite subjects and why?

My favorite subjects are science and history because I enjoy learning about the human body and find our country’s history intriguing.
